At the official opening of the XXIII Russian Agro-industrial Exhibition "Golden Autumn - 2021", the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation named priority areas for the development of the domestic agro-industrial complex, which continues to be one of the key drivers of the development of the domestic economy.

‘We have a unique advantage - natural resources, which we must use to start the production of organic products and products with improved characteristics,’ said the official. ‘This is a key direction for the export of our agricultural products.’

According to the Deputy Chairman, in 2021 the country set "new records" in several areas. First, we are talking about harvesting vegetables in winter greenhouses, berry products and rapeseed. Russian livestock breeders and fishermen also have good indicators.

According to the speaker, in the concept of economic development until 2030, the Government of the Russian Federation is considering a new direction, which was called "Russia is a super-agrarian power".

‘Our agro-industrial complex has a future, which is embedded in agricultural science, which is one of our priorities,’ said the official. ‘We must develop domestic breeding and genetics based on breakthrough genomic and post-genomic technologies.’

In conclusion, she added that the Russian Government does not forget about the comfortable living conditions of Russian villagers. And this is its another priority.

‘I'm talking about implementing of the state program for the integrated development of rural areas, its financing this year has been increased by 9.6 billion rubles with a total funding of 41 billion rubles,’ the speaker said.
