The rise in prices for meat of cattle is especially clearly seen in the United States, where beef rose in price by 2.9% over the week due to increased demand in the domestic and foreign markets. The price of live bulls of slaughter condition for the month increased by an average of 4.6%.
As of Monday, February 1, global beef prices rose 0.9% on average to $ 4.06. The average price in early February was 0.4% higher than in January.
In Russia, beef has risen in price by 0.5% - to $ 3.36, and over the month it has fallen in price by 2.6% in dollar terms.
The average price level of domestically produced beef and by-products of cattle in the wholesale segment in ruble terms increased by 1.1% per week and by 0.4% per month.
