This is a part of a large investment project implemented by the collective farm Pervoye maya within the framework of the individual program of socio-economic development of Mari El.

The collective farm Pervoye maya was provided with plots with an area of 38.8 hectares without bidding for construction of the farm. By the end of 2021, it is planned to build a livestock complex for 504 cows here. The volume of investments is 350 million rubles. 37 people will get jobs on the farm.

To date, the installation of the frame and wall panels of the livestock complex has already been completed, the roof is being installed, the floors are being installed, the water supply system is being installed and the territory is being improved. The installation of the equipment has begun. The foundation of the sanitary checkpoint has been built, silo trenches are being built. Head of the Republic Alexander Evstifeev visited the construction site and spoke about the principles of regional state support.

‘The company has a decent feed base, stable economic ties have been established, there are buyers who are guaranteed to participate in cooperation. We proceed from the fact that the support of the agro-industrial complex of the republic should be annual. The main thing for us is the dynamics, the formation of food security of both the republic and the country,’ the Head of the Republic noted.

Pervoye maya is the largest agricultural enterprise in Novy Toryal district. The collective farm breeds black-and-white cattle. The number of cattle is 3794, including 1450 cows. For 8 months of 2021, the production of meat here amounted to 363.7 tons, milk - 89.9 thousand tons. The company occupies the 2nd place in the Republic for the production of milk. In 2021, the company purchased 32 units of agricultural machinery and equipment for 68 million rubles. The volume of state support for the beginning of 2021 amounted to 29.7 million rubles.
