64 new outbreaks of Foot and Mouth Disease have been confirmed in South Korea.

Most of the cases occurred in pigs, with 48,700 cases out of a susceptible population of 131,801. However, there was also one outbreak on a cattle farm, with two cases in a population of 33 cattle.

All the affected animals were destroyed.
