A seminar-meeting “Organic farming - new opportunities” has started in Kaluga. This event, organized by the regional Ministry of Agriculture, involves industry associations and educational institutions in the region. The regional association of peasant farms and agricultural cooperatives, the Kaluga center for training, retraining and advanced training of agricultural workers and the Union of Organic Agriculture participated in the development of the program. Chairman of the Board of the Union of Organic Farming Sergey Korshunov spoke to the audience with a report on promising niches and directions for the production of environmentally friendly products. He told how to build a model of an organic agricultural enterprise in the Russian market, paying particular attention to organic production certification programs.
