TenderPro analysts studied how the investment climate has changed at the end of 2023 in the agricultural sector. According to experts, over the 12 months of the past year, agricultural enterprises implemented 72% more investment projects than in 2022.
As of the end of December, agricultural enterprises were working on investment projects totaling 241 billion 640 million rubles.
An interesting fact was also revealed by TenderPro analysts. Compared to last year, in 2023, agricultural enterprises were 3 times less likely to implement investment projects to modernize existing production facilities.
Most often, market players built or modernized livestock enterprises - 44.6%, greenhouse complexes - 15.5% and elevators - 16.5%.
Basically, agricultural enterprises implemented investment projects in the Central (29% of all objects), Volga (22.3% of all objects) and Southern (14.6% of all objects) federal districts.
At the end of the year, most of the ongoing investment projects are at the stages of construction site preparation (30% of all projects), design (27.2% of all projects) and construction and installation work (12.6% of all projects).
During the implementation of investment projects, agricultural enterprises were faced with rising prices for equipment and building materials.
For example, the cost of plumbing over the year increased on average by 30.5%, and for ventilation equipment - by 33.7%.
Also for agricultural enterprises, the price of reinforcement has increased significantly (an increase in purchase prices by 34%), dry building mixtures (an increase of 23%) and crushed stone (an increase of 21%).
“The rise in prices of goods and services last year led to a transformation of consumer behavior and an increase in the number of trades on electronic platforms. Requests for leasing and factoring began to appear more often. Farmers more often began to request services for in-depth study of the market,” said Elena Astafieva, commercial director of TenderPro LLC.
