Information and analytical portal SoyaNews, citing open data from the Unified Interdepartmental Information Statistics System (EMISS), published a summary of July pork prices in different regions of Russia. In July this year, the average price of pork, with the exception of boneless meat, amounted to 273.65 rubles per kilogram and increased by 0.8 percent compared to the average price in June. On an annualized basis (compared with July 2018), pork price went up by 6.3%, but since the beginning of 2019, it has fallen by 0.7 percent. For two years and seven months, the minimum price for pork (248.73 rubles per kilogram) was registered in March 2018, and the maximum (275.54 rubles per kilogram) in January of this year. The highest pork prices (325.41 rubles per kilogram) were recorded in the Far Eastern Federal District. The cheapest pork (252.17 rubles per kilogram) was sold in the Volga Federal District.
