The Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Bashkortostan and the National Union of Beef Producers signed a cooperation agreement. The agreement was signed by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic and Director General Roman Kostiuk, the Svetich news agency reported.

According to the document, it is planned to introduce and develop a unified digital communication platform for the livestock industry in the Republic of Bashkortostan - Farmer i1. It is an information and communication environment for interaction between participants in the beef cattle industry, allowing registered users of the digital platform to create cooperative ties, receive consulting and other types of support for production activities.

The project implementation will create additional opportunities for integration between the EAEU member states due to the harmonization of national standards for raising cattle and the production of meat products. The digital platform of beef cattle breeding created in the project will improve the quality of meat products, increase consumer confidence in it and  increase the competitiveness on the global market of all participants in the beef cattle industry - users of the digital platform.

It should be noted that the project can also contribute to the development of an integrated information system and digital platforms of the Eurasian Economic Union.
