In April 2019, the average price of beef in Russia, with the exception of boneless meat, amounted to 333 rubles per kilogram, reported SoyaNews information and analytical agency, citing data from the Unified Inter-Agency Statistical Information systems (EMISS). In April, the price of Russian beef increased by 0.3% compared with March of the current year and by 3.7% compared with April 2018. For four months since the beginning of 2019, beef price has risen by 1.3 percent. In January 2017, the minimum average price of beef was fixed for the last time: it was 315.02 rubles per kilogram. In April 2019, the price of beef reached a maximum - 333.62 rubles per kilogram. In April of this year, the highest prices for beef were recorded in the Central Federal District: 385.40 rubles per kilogram. The cheapest beef could be found in the North Caucasus region: 301.77 rubles per kilogram.
