Information and analytical portal SoyaNews, citing open data from the Unified Interagency Information Statistics System (EMISS), published a summary of July beef prices in different regions of Russia. In July of this year, beef, with the exception of boneless meat, cost an average of 338.06 rubles per kilogram. Since June, the price has risen by 0.4%, and compared with the price level in July 2018 the price increased by 4.9 percent.
Since the beginning of 2019, the price of beef has risen by 2.7%, which was a record for two and a half years. For two years and seven months, the price of beef was minimum in January 2017: 315.02 rubles per kilogram, and the maximum in July of this year: 338.06 rubles per kilogram. The highest price of beef was noted in the Central Federal District: 395.42 rubles per kilogram, and the lowest - in the North Caucasus District (302.46 rubles per kilogram).
