Chicken meat exports from Ukraine to the EU fell in the first nine months of this year. According to statistics released by experts, the country has experienced a decline of more than 13.5 percent in this sector.
Informed sources say that the country’s representatives are consulting with their counterparts in the European Union and the United States to create new markets for Ukrainian poultry products.
It should be noted that this country is currently the third-largest supplier of chicken meat in the European Union after Brazil and Thailand.
Assessments show that the country has achieved more than 50 international agreements in areas related to the export of poultry products, especially in Asian countries.
On the other hand, Vladimir Putin recently issued an executive order, according to which the country’s sanctions against countries such as the United States and Ukraine will be extended until the end of 2021.
Recently, the country banned the transit of Ukrainian poultry products in Russia. This could be a major challenge for Ukraine in gaining access to East Asian markets.
