All news / CHERKIZOVO GROUP CHANGES ITS LOGO IN SUPPORT OF THE STAYHOME CAMPAIGN

  • 10 Apr 2020, 11:41

Cherkizovo Group, Russia's largest meat producer, has joined the global StayHome campaign. We believe this message to be of crucial importance for each and every one of our customers: amid the COVID-19 outbreak, minimising social contact is the simplest way to protect themselves and their loved ones.

From today, Cherkizovo Group will temporarily change its corporate logo by placing it inside an image of a house. By doing so, we are joining the international StayHome campaign, which has now been endorsed by many Russian organisations across various industries. The new logo has already been rolled out on the Cherkizovo Group's official website at cherkizovo.com and on our social media accounts on Facebook, Instagram, VK and Odnoklassniki.

Following the lead of the StayHome campaign, Cherkizovo urges its consumers to be patient and responsible during the COVID-19 pandemic, encouraging them not to leave their houses without an exceptionally good reason. This is the least we can do to halt the spread of a new disease quickly spreading across the globe. Staying at home not only ensures the safety of you and your loved ones, but also eases the pressure on healthcare services, helping to protect doctors and nurses working round the clock to fight this pandemic.

“The home is a pertinent symbol for our Company, embodying the close bond that we have with our consumers. Every day, thousands of Cherkizovo Group employees work hard to ensure that not a single family will suffer from disruptions in food production. Despite these challenging times, we are making every effort to keep our production of quality meat products at adequate levels,” said Anastasia Mikhailova, Head of Government and Public Relations at Cherkizovo Group.

Cherkizovo Group supports people in self isolation in a variety of ways. Last week, the Company joined #Wearetogether, a campaign to support vulnerable senior citizens, run by the All-Russia People’s Front, with support from the Roscongress Foundation, volunteer groups, and Rostelecom. Through its donations, the Group helped provide essential supplies to elderly people living in self isolation and to the volunteers who support them. Anyone can take part in this campaign.
