In 2022-2023, the Cherkizovo Group plans to maintain the production of jamon at least at the level of the previous year. “Demand for these products is high and exceeds supply. In the coming years, the company will maintain production at the level of 2021 - at least 28,000 feet per year,” he said.

Cherkizovo launched the production of jamon in March 2016. Then, according to Levoca, 800 legs for jamon were released. In 2017, the PIT-product plant in Sinyavino (Leningrad region) received the Spanish ETG Serrano quality certificate, and the company became the only manufacturer of Jamon Serrano outside of Europe.

According to Levoc, the plant's capacity is 100% loaded, and demand always exceeds supply. However, the company may consider increasing ham production once the 2023 budget is in place, he added. Pork is supplied to the plant from the sites of the Cherkizovo group located in the Penza, Tambov, Voronezh, Lipetsk and Oryol regions.

Levots also announced that in September 2021 Cherkizovo began exporting uncooked smoked delicacies under the Casademont brand to Armenia and Kazakhstan, and plans to increase this figure in 2023.

According to him, in the near future it is also planned to start shipping these products to Belarus, Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Georgia.

Cherkizovo is one of Russia's largest producers of poultry, pork and other meat products. The company is also engaged in crop production. The company's brands include Petelinka, Kurinoe Tsarstvo, Cherkizovo.

The net profit of the Cherkizovo Group under IFRS for the first half of 2022 decreased by 48.9% compared to the same period last year and amounted to 6.9 billion rubles.
