The Damate group of companies continues to develop livestock breeding and increases sales of highly productive cattle from its own breeding farm in the Tyumen region. In 2023, the company plans to sell about 800 breeding animals. To this end, the company expanded the capacity of its production sites by building two outdoor livestock pens.
Work on breeding breeding animals is carried out on the basis of the largest dairy complex in Siberia "Damate" for 6 thousand heads of milking herd. The enterprise received the status of a breeding reproducer and started selling highly productive heifers and heifers of the Holstein-Friesian breed in 2019.
The farm breeds Holstein-Friesian cattle for sale. The breed is well adapted to cold climates and resistant to low temperatures. The average daily milk yield exceeds 30 liters per head.
The status of the breeding farm confirms that all cattle kept at the complex are purebred and meet the requirements for breeding stock, the conditions of keeping and feeding comply with zootechnical standards, modern equipment has been installed, advanced technologies have been introduced at all stages of the process in accordance with the latest trends in animal husbandry . The farm maintains zootechnical records in full using modern computer programs for herd management, the farm is free from infectious diseases. The company is staffed with highly qualified personnel.
The construction of new pens is another step in the development of breeding business at the complex. Open keeping of animals has a number of advantages and will positively affect the health of cattle. Animals receive more sunlight, clean air, the risk of diseases of various etiologies is reduced, which has a positive effect on future milk yields. In addition, animals kept outdoors are under round-the-clock control of the farm staff and specialists. The pens are equipped with video surveillance, thanks to which specialists, analysts, and managers can monitor the behavioral reactions of animals, conduct zootechnical and veterinary activities, and feed them online.
Recall that "Damate" opened a dairy complex in the Tyumen region in the year. To date, the number of cattle on the farm is 12,560 heads, of which 5,695 are cows.
