Damate Group of Companies, the largest turkey producer in Russia, produced 158 thousand tons of turkey in carcass weight in 9 months of 2022. The increase was 13% compared to the same period last year. The positive dynamics of growth in production volumes is due to the systematic implementation of the company's turkey-breeding projects in the Penza and Rostov regions.

At the complex of the Rostov region, turkey meat production volumes increased by 36% compared to 9 months of 2021, at the facilities in Penza, the increase was 7% over the same period.

In the Rostov region, Damate demonstrates a steady positive trend, the company produced 37.5 thousand tons of carcass weight in 9 months of 2022. Significant growth is associated with the restoration of the full production cycle and the operation of the complex, its phased output to the declared capacity. The company systematically carries out technical re-equipment and modernization of production, launches new lines, expands the range of products under the Indylight trademark. Much attention is paid to strengthening biosecurity measures and compliance with the most stringent standards and sanitary norms. An important step in the development of the project was the formation of our own turkey parent flock, which made it possible to reduce dependence on the import of genetic material, reduce biological risks and improve the quality of hatching eggs due to a shorter shelf life and by optimizing logistics. Together, all these measures have a positive impact on the production performance of the enterprise.

In the Penza region, Damate produced 120 thousand tons of turkey, which is 7% more than the same period last year. This is the result of the ongoing project to expand the poultry complex to 207 thousand tons of products per year. The project includes the construction of 128 additional growers and finishers and high-tech infrastructure by 2023. The growth of indicators was influenced by the launch of a new, largest in Europe, plant for deep processing of turkeys with a capacity of 303 tons per day and systematic work with the product range. In accordance with the schedule, the plant carried out additional loading of lines, reaching maximum production capacity. Now the plant produces dry-cured sausages, hams, boiled sausages and frankfurter products, sous-vide culinary products, as well as ready-to-eat semi-finished products.

Damate continues to implement projects in the Penza and Rostov regions and plans to reach production volumes of more than 230,000 tons of turkey meat by the end of 2022.

Recall that since 2016, the Damate group of companies has been the leader in terms of turkey meat production in Russia and is one of the ten largest turkey producers in the world.
