Poultry farming in Russia continues to develop dynamically, and the Russian Ministry of Agriculture emphasized the high level of demand for the products of this industry. Last year, demand for poultry and eggs increased significantly, leading to higher prices. However, thanks to government decisions, such as the introduction of duty-free quotas for the import of eggs and poultry meat, it was possible to stabilize the situation and reduce prices for these products.

The Russian Ministry of Agriculture notes that the demand for poultry products still remains at a high level, which requires a further increase in production volumes. This provides excellent prospects for developing the industry and attracting new investments.

One of the main reasons for the growing demand for poultry products is their high quality. Russian manufacturers are actively introducing modern technologies and strictly controlling the production process, which allows them to obtain products of a high standard. In addition, poultry farmers are actively working to improve the genetic potential of poultry, which helps improve its productivity and meat quality.

An important factor that contributes to the development of poultry farming is the availability of sufficient material and technical resources. The Russian Ministry of Agriculture notes that currently there are no serious problems with seeding material, and the procurement of seeds of various crops is proceeding in accordance with the established schedule. This makes it possible to provide adequate nutrition for poultry and maintain high farm productivity.

According to Rosstat, in 2023, egg production in Russia increased by 1.2% compared to the previous year and amounted to 46.7 billion pieces. At the same time, chilled poultry meat production decreased by 0.2% to 3.4 million tons. These data indicate stable development of the industry, despite some fluctuations in production volumes.

The development of poultry farming in Russia is an important direction for providing the population with quality food. High demand for products in this industry opens up new business opportunities and creates a favorable investment environment. At the same time, it is important to continue to support producers and develop effective measures to stimulate the development of poultry farming in the country.
