All news / Duck meat and foie gras production to appear in Voronezh region

A poultry farm with a workshop for the deep processing of meat and liver of duck mulard breed will be built in the Voronezh region. The project will require 4.5 billion rubles.

 

It is planned to process more than 2.8 thousand tons of duck meat and produce 150 tons of foie gras annually, reports sfera.fm. The new plant will be located near the village of Kaverier, Ramonsky region.

Local residents will be able to try the first products in the second quarter of 2021. The plant will also start production of baby food based on duck meat, rabbit meat, turkey and other tolling materials.

To reduce environmental emissions, the factory will use modern technologies for the production of litter and disposal of used litter by the method of manufacturing bioorganic fertilizers.
