According to the forecast of the Rosptitsesoyuz, in 2020 the production of duck meat in agricultural enterprises may grow 2.4 times compared to the figure for 2019.
Such an increase will be facilitated by the launch of the Ulybino poultry farm (the planned capacity is 18 thousand tons of duck meat per year by 2024), the resumption of production on the basis of the Rostov Donstar by Damate, as well as the start of operation of the duck complex of the Russkoe Pole agricultural holding.
In the next five years, it is planned to increase the production volume of the farm "Ramaevskoye" (Tatarstan) - up to 16.8 thousand tons. The "Bryukhovetsky rabbit" in the Krasnodar Territory intends to increase the output of duck meat to 4.5 thousand tons.
The industrial sector of duck production has made a huge leap forward over the past ten years. Back in 2009, 99% of the duck meat obtained in the country was grown by private farms. And in 2016, the share of duck meat production in agricultural enterprises increased to 33%
