Exports of poultry meat from Russia since the beginning of 2022 have doubled compared to the same period in 2021, beef - by 40%.

"Russian meat products are well known in many countries of the world and valued for their high quality. The demand for it is constantly growing. So, since the beginning of the year, supplies of poultry meat abroad have doubled, and beef - by 40%," the ministry said.

As explained in the Ministry of Agriculture, agricultural attaches help domestic companies to enter foreign markets and actively develop export activities - now representatives of the ministry are already working in 36 countries. The Ministry of Agriculture noted that its representatives organized a meeting with participants in the meat market, at which they discussed the removal of tariff and non-tariff barriers, strengthening relations with importers, distributors and retailers, issues of veterinary supervision and certification.

"We plan to hold such meetings with the heads of all major industry unions and the largest enterprises - exporters of agricultural products," the Ministry of Agriculture concluded.
