According to the latest data from Rosstat, as of July 01, 2022, when compared with the values of both a week and a month ago, prices for most food products tend to weaken. The AB-Center analyzed the weekly dynamics of prices for 44 products, of which 29 products showed a decrease over the week. Compared to a month ago, prices weakened in 25 positions.

To a greater extent, the increase in prices over the week, according to AB-Center, affected such food products as vermicelli (+0.5%), margarine (+0.5%), table salt (+0.4%), cookies ( +0.3%) and canned fruits and berries for baby food (+0.3%).
Food products showing the lowest price increase in a week
Relatively low price strengthening over the week affected black tea (+0.01%), wheat flour (+0.04%), bread made from rye flour and from a mixture of rye and wheat flour (+0.04%), boiled sausage ( +0.05%) and pasta made from premium wheat flour (+0.1%).
Food items that have dropped in price in a week
As for the price reduction, it affected fresh white cabbage (-13.4%), potatoes (-6.8%), table beets (-6.3%), fresh tomatoes (-5.5%), onions (-3.6%), bananas (-3.3%), carrots (-2.9%), granulated sugar (-2.2%), fresh cucumbers (-0.7%), buckwheat uncut (-0.7%), chicken eggs (-0.4%), canned vegetables for baby food (-0.4%), frozen whole fish (-0.3%), lamb on the bone (-0. 3%), sterilized milk (-0.3%), sunflower oil (-0.2%), pork on the bone (-0.2%), semi-smoked and boiled-smoked sausages (-0.2%), millet (-0.2%), chicken meat (-0.1%), beef on the bone (-0.1%), sausages and wieners (-0.1%), cottage cheese (-0.1%), cheeses hard and soft rennet (-0.1%), vodka (-0.1%), bread and bakery products from wheat flour of various varieties (-0.1%), sour cream (-0.1%), butter ( -0.05%) and soft candies glazed with chocolate (-0.02%).

Prices for butter (+0.03%), vermicelli (+0.1%), beef on the bone (+0.1%), boiled sausage (+0.1%) and canned vegetables strengthened to a lesser extent over the month for baby food (+0.1%).
Food products that have decreased in price in a month
Over the month, the price of fresh white cabbage (-36.1%), fresh tomatoes (-24.1%), table beets (-17.0%), bananas (-13.0%), onions (-11%) decreased in price. .8%), potatoes (-11.2%), fresh cucumbers (-10.1%), carrots (-9.7%), granulated sugar (-7.9%), chicken eggs (-2, 6%), buckwheat groats (-2.0%), sterilized milk (-1.9%), pork on the bone (-1.3%), whole frozen fish (-0.6%), pasta from wheat flour of the highest grade (-0.5%), chicken meat (-0.4%), dry milk mixtures for baby food (-0.4%), vodka (-0.4%), sunflower oil (-0 .3%), millet (-0.3%), sausages and sausages (-0.1%), black tea (-0.1%), sour cream (-0.1%), wheat flour (-0 .1%) and cottage cheese (-0.03%).
