In 2022, Damate Group of Companies sold poultry products, such as turkey and duck, to more than 30 countries. The export turnover of the company amounted to 3.7 billion rubles.

The Damate group of companies is engaged in the export of its own poultry products in 2015, the company said. As of 2023, exports have been established to the EU countries and 33 other countries of the world, while in 2022 export trade turnover increased by 60%.

African countries in total are the largest export destination, they account for more than half of all exports, the company explained, traditionally a lot of goods are also shipped to China and the UAE. The company's products are also loved in the CIS countries, Damate notes. These countries are supplied with parts of turkey and duck carcasses and processed turkey meat products, such as sausages. Semi-finished products from poultry meat are also supplied.

The company noted that they started the export direction with the trade in turkey meat and products from it, but gradually increased the range. Now the company is focusing on duck meat products and turkey sausage with a high marginal value. The company has created an independent brand Salima, whose goods are supplied exclusively abroad. A big plus for export is that Damate's poultry products are halal certified and can be sold in Muslim countries, experts say.

Damate turkey production and processing enterprises are located in the Penza and Rostov regions. In the Rostov region, with the support of the government, the company was engaged in the restoration of an old poultry complex.
