“This 2022 is the year of an absolute record not only in recent history, I looked, in the history of our entire country, starting from tsarist times,” Yushin said.

In Russia, the availability of meat to the population has increased. If earlier there was a shortage of fresh meat in provincial cities, now they have it in their stores, said the head of the executive committee of the National Meat Association.

It should be noted that in 2022, about 11.5 million tons of all types of meat were produced in Russia. In 2022, the growth in meat production is about 6%. Pork production increased by 9%, poultry by 4%, but beef production decreased by 4%. Over the past 10 years, the production of all types of meat in Russia has increased by 51%.
