Despite the increase in the production of poultry meat and eggs, the rise in prices for poultry products remains relevant. However, the cost of vegetables such as potatoes, carrots, cabbage, beets and onions has also decreased. At the same time, prices for tomatoes and cucumbers showed a seasonal increase, which is associated with the transition to protected soil products and an increase in supplies of imported vegetables.

The positive trend in vegetable production in 2023 is encouraging. The development of this industry plays an important role in providing varied and healthy food to the population. Therefore, incentivizing producers and concluding long-term supply agreements are important steps to create a sustainable and developed market for poultry products in Russia.
