According to Rosstat, in the week since the beginning of the first ten days of October, the growth in pork prices on the domestic market accelerated from 0.31% in the period from October 3 to October 9 to 0.93% on October 10–16.

Chicken meat prices did not rise as rapidly as in the previous week: 0.9% versus 1.26%. However, from the beginning of the year to October 16, its price increased by 27.52%, and the price of pork - by 11.42%.

The price of chicken eggs increased by 2.97% compared to 3.79% a week earlier. Since the beginning of the year, they have risen in price by 13.1%.

Rosstat notes a slight decrease in prices for some food products: canned vegetables for baby food (-0.4%), cottage cheese (-0.2%), sugar (-0.1%), apples and seasonal vegetables.
