According to the results of the shearing company 2022 in the Republic of Crimea, the success of regional sheep breeding is obvious
Sheep shearing campaign ended in Crimea. This was announced by the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Crimea Alime Zaredinova.
“More than 40,000 heads have been sheared in sheep farms, resulting in more than 150 tons of semi-fine wool. Our livestock breeders approach sheep shearing responsibly, every year they increase the production of high-quality fine-fleeced and semi-fine-fleeced wool. Most of the wool from one head - 4.6 kg each was received in the farms of the Chernomorsky region," the First Deputy Minister noted.
Alime Zaredinova also focused on the fact that annually, within the framework of the state program "Development of Agriculture", funds are provided to support sheep breeding.
Thus, this year, the following funds were allocated to support the sheep breeding industry: wool production - 1.8 million rubles, breeding stock of sheep and goats - 19.5 million rubles, breeding breeding stock of sheep and goats - 4.5 million rubles.
Recall that in addition to breeding sheep for wool, the republic is developing the production of sheep cheese. The leader in this direction is the gastrofarm "Feodoro" - LLC "Lacon Group". The company was founded in 2018 and specializes in Lacon and Merinoland dairy sheep, which are grown on the farm. The company is engaged in dairy production: it produces sheep cheeses, yoghurts, as well as aged cheeses from cow's milk.
