By the end of 2022, the number of farms with highly productive dairy cows will increase by 2 times in the Moscow Region, the press service of the regional Ministry of Agriculture told.
“Based on the data for 9 months received from agricultural organizations, by the end of the year in the Moscow region, the number of farms containing cattle with a milk productivity of about 10,000 kg of milk will increase. There will be 11 such farms, which is 2.2 times more than last year,” said Minister of Agriculture and Food of the region Vladislav Murashov.
The leading enterprise in this direction is CJSC State Farm named after Lenin (Leninsky District), where cows produce 9,126 kg of milk. It is slightly inferior to TH-Rus Milk Food LLC from the Volokolamsk urban district with a result of 9,119 kg of milk. According to the results of the year, the milk yield per cow will also increase in farms of various types. The forecast is already being made at the level of 7,800 kg of milk. This exceeds last year's values by 140 kg.
