The Ministry of Agriculture Commission of the Kingdom of Thailand is completing its work in Russia. Perhaps the delegation’s visit to the Belgorod region will be the first step to open the domestic market of this country for Russian pork producers. 

 

Specialists from Thailand, concerned about the epidemic of African swine fever in Southeast Asia, organized a many-hour tour of the Belgorod Interregional Veterinary Laboratory wheremore than 5,000 accredited research methods are used, including 500 test to identify infectious diseases of animals. According to the research, a reliable picture of the epizootic situation in the region is emerging. Thailand intends to continue to study Russian experience in the fight against ASF. According to the representative of the Ministry of Agriculture, Prontila Rogjanasang, the capabilities of the laboratory made a favorable impression on Thai specialists. They were interested not only in the identification of pathogens, but also in a detailed study of food products and feed for farm animals.  

Korochansky pig-breeding complex Miratorg Agribusiness Holding (SK Korocha CJSC) is ready to act as the first Russian pork exporter to Thailand. The company works closely with the Belgorod Interregional Veterinary Laboratory. During a visit to the enterprise, guests were shown how product quality and safety are controlled at all stages of the production chain. The results of the inspection will be known later.
