The preliminary results of livestock production for 2022 have been summed up in the region. Thus, in Kuzbass, farms of all categories received 1 billion 284.7 million eggs. This is 105.3% compared to last year. Own production fully satisfies the need of the region's population for eggs.
“In Kuzbass, the production of chicken eggs has been growing every year for the past few years. In general, the growth is provided by large modern poultry farms, constantly modernizing production and increasing capacity. There are five of them in the region. Thanks to their work, Kuzbass not only remains one of the leaders in Siberia in egg production, but also annually sets a historical production record. For the period from 1943, when the Kemerovo region was formed, and before the collapse of the Soviet Union, the maximum was recorded in 1990, production amounted to 1 billion 67.3 million units. Further, the indicator fell by more than two times, but in the last 10 years it was possible not only to restore it, but also to increase it. As a result, in 2022 we received a historical maximum,” comments Denis Ilyin, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the region for the agro-industrial complex and rural development.
The leader in the production of eggs remains LLC Inskaya Poultry Farm of the Belovsky Municipal District, it produces more than 40% of all eggs in the region. This is the most modern high-tech poultry farm in our region, one of the best from the Urals to the Far East. All main production processes are computerized, physical labor is practically excluded. "Inskoye" egg is popular not only in Kuzbass, but also in neighboring regions and even in Moscow and the Far East. The second place in the production of eggs in Kuzbass is occupied by JSC "Kuzbass poultry farm" of the Novokuznetsk municipal district. Another enterprise is increasing production volumes - this is Yashkinskaya Poultry Farm LLC. In 2021, a poultry house for 64 thousand heads was reconstructed here.
