According to Georgia Stat, the number of cattle in Georgia increased by 2.6% and amounted to 1 million head in the 2nd quarter of 2020.

Pigs livestock increased by 1, 8% to 205,400 head. The number of chickens increased by 16.9% and reached 12.5 million.

During the reporting period, 197, 4 million liters of milk were produced, which is 0.1% up y-o-y. Meat production grew by 5.8% and amounted to 16,300 Mt. There were produced 167.5 million eggs, which is 1.4% down against the same period of 2019.
