In January-August, within the framework of the national project "International Cooperation and Export", producers of the Stavropol Territory increased the supply of meat products to foreign markets by 5% year on year.

First Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Stavropol Territory Evgeny Grishchenko said that this year new sales markets were opened - Jordan, Singapore and Equatorial Guinea. In August, the first batches of poultry were sent to Bahrain and Qatar. At present, meat processing companies of the Stavropol Territory have gained access to the markets of 30 countries of near and far abroad.

The total volume of exports in monetary terms increased by 75% year-on-year. Azerbaijan, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and China remain the main destinations for deliveries. External contractors note a high demand for the products of Stavropol exporters.

Processing of poultry meat will develop in the coming years. Investors are implementing several projects in the Stavropol Territory with a total value of more than 2 billion rubles.
