All news / Milk sales in Russia grow up by 6.7%

According to operational data from the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, as of April 13, 2020, the daily volume of milk sales by agricultural organizations amounted to 49.3 thousand tons, which is 6.7% more than the same indicator in 2019.

The maximum sales volumes were achieved in the Republic of Tatarstan, Krasnodar, Voronezh, Ekaterinburg,, Sverdlovsk, Novosibirsk, Saint-Petersburg, Moscow, Belgorod and Nizhny Novgorod, the Udmurt Republic, Altay.

The average milk yield per cow per day amounted to 17.86 kg, which is 1.07 kg more than a year earlier. The leaders among the regions according to this indicator are Saint-Petersburg, Kaliningrad, Kaluga, Lipetsk, Vologda, Penza, Kirov, Vladimir, Ekaterinburg, Moscow, Belgorod, Ryazan, Voronezh, Tula, Yaroslavl, Arkhangelsk, Kursk and Tyumen regions, Krasnodar, Mari El and Karelia, which received more than 20 kg of milk per cow.
