ABH Miratorg, Russia’s largest pork and beef producer, reports that it’s the first Russian company starting supplies of high-quality beef to Brazil.
Miratorg is the largest beef producer in Russia. The investments in the cattle interregional project exceed 114 billion rubles. There are 97 farms in 6 regions of Russia; the total population of Aberdeen-Angus cattle is over 700 thousand heads which makes it possible to provide growing demand for raw materials in both Russian and international markets.
The production chain includes crop production, cattle farms, grain fattening facilities (feedlots) and high-tech automated complex for cattle slaughter and meat deep processing with a capacity of 500 thousand heads per year. A full cycle of production and logistics services, a high level of production automation, guaranteed compliance with all sanitary and veterinary standards and requirements ensure high quality of the product and its availability for a wide range of consumers.
Over 137 thousand tons of beef were produced in 2019. The company diversifies actively its sales markets, expanding the geography of supplies of high-quality beef for export. Today Miratorg supplies meat to almost 30 countries, including the countries of the Persian Gulf, Southeast Asia, Africa, the Customs Union and the CIS. Within the framework of HoReCa, Miratorg will provide Brazil with over 13 tons of products, including traditional cuts for Churassco as well as premium ribeye and other steaks.
