In 2022, the Miratorg agro-industrial holding replaced more than 2.6 thousand imported products in the technical systems of the company's plants with domestic counterparts, while the number of its own drawings last year exceeded 2 thousand units.
The company began import substitution of suppliers of technical equipment for factories in 2020. The purpose of the transition to domestic developments was the need to reduce dependence on supplies and control the cost of equipment maintenance. The main areas of import substitution were metalworking, cutting tools, conveyors, plastic products, automation and control equipment. The total volume of maintenance operations on equipment exceeds 54 thousand per year, while the number of equipment in accordance with the development strategy of the holding is constantly growing.
“Further localization of technological chains can be ensured by combining applications for the production of parts from enterprises from related industries, holding exhibitions, creating Internet aggregators to connect manufacturers and suppliers. This not only improves the exchange of information, but also accelerates the transition to domestically produced products,” commented the Miratorg press service.
