In October, Miratorg will launch the first industrial production site for lamb meat in the Tula Region. “Now the installation of metal structures for the first farm has begun. The planned launch date of the first sheep-breeding site is October 2019, ”said Alexey Dyumin, head of the region, to TASS at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

The launch of the second sheep farm is scheduled for 2020. The total cost of the two complexes will be 6 billion rubles, Dyumin specified. The investment agreement between the Tula region and Miratorg was concluded in October 2018. Then it was reported that two closed-type sheep-breeding complexes would be designed for year-round stabling of 60 thousand sheep. The company plans to grow up to 134 thousand commodity animals in the Tula region and sell up to 6.6 thousand tons of meat in live weight per year.
