An increase in prices for meat and poultry over the past month was noticed by 38% of Russians. Another 31% of respondents talk about rising prices for milk and dairy products. These are the results of a survey conducted by the Public Opinion Foundation.

At the end of December 2022, 36% and 30% of respondents, respectively, spoke of rising prices for these goods.

In addition, Russians note an increase in egg prices over the past month. The fact that prices for this product have increased is said by 23% of survey participants. Rise in prices for fish and seafood was noticed by every third respondent. At the end of December, 29% of respondents spoke of rising prices for fish and seafood.

The survey was conducted from January 13 to January 15, 2023 in 104 settlements in 53 regions of the country. The survey involved 1.5 thousand respondents.
