Russian agro-industrial enterprises quickly respond to economic and political changes in the world and in the country. Thus, the volumes of production of the main types of cereals are already increasing. For example, over two months of this year, the volume of buckwheat production increased by 24.7%, the volume of rice production - by 23.6%, the volume of corn grits - by 65.5%. In just two months of 2022, more than 270 thousand tons of various types of cereals were produced in the country. In addition, this year the main producers of cereals intend to expand the area under sowing.There will be no food shortage in Russia

Also, the volume of livestock production is increasing in the country, while the greatest dynamics is observed in poultry and pig breeding. So, for the two months of 2022, the industry shows an increase of 7.5%, in total, 2 million tons of live weight products were produced.

Seasonal field work continues at an active pace in the country. According to the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, despite changes in the economy, work is being carried out strictly according to the schedule. And this is largely possible thanks to state support for farmers, including concessional lending. Thus, as of April 30, the volume of credit funds issued to enterprises of the agro-industrial complex amounted to more than 218 million rubles. This is 13.6% higher than the same period in 2021.
