In the first half of 2019, agricultural enterprises of the Moscow Region produced 111.5 thousand tons of poultry meat, which is 9.2 thousand tons higher than last year, said Andrei Razin, Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Moscow Region,.

The major producers of poultry meat in the Moscow region are the Petelinskaya Poultry Factory of the Odintsovo urban district and the city district of Istra, the Mosselprom of the Ramensky district and Domodedovo, the Poultry factory Elinar-Broiler of the Naro-Fominsky city district, the Novo-Petrovskaya poultry factory of the city District Istra .

“Production of“ Elinar - Broiler ”- one of the largest producers of poultry meat in the Moscow region, for 6 months of the current year amounted  37.7 thousand tons, which is 2.1 thousand tons more compared to the level of 2018,” the minister said.

Razin added that the broiler poultry industry is the most dynamically developing and leading in the Moscow region.

“At present, there are 11 poultry enterprises operating in the region’s poultry industry, of which five are pedigree and six commodity enterprises. The poultry stock in all categories of farms in the first half of the year amounted 10 million heads, ”stressed the head of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.
