On the site of the UN-1 LLC "Ursdon" (part of the Group of Companies "Eurodon") over 37% of the turkey population were killed because of bird flu. These are 6355 birds, according to the information policy department of the government of the Rostov region.

It is specified that the indicated site contains a turkey at the age of 273 days. In samples of pathological material from a fallen bird, employees of the Rostov regional veterinary laboratory   identified the genome of the bird flu virus of the H5 subtype.

The territory within a radius of 5 km from the site located in the Ust-Donetsk region is now considered a threatened zone, and within a radius of 10 km it is considered a surveillance zone.

In total, the "Ursdone" contains about 70 thousand birds. It was previously suggested that someone accidentally or deliberately could bring the virus to the enterprise.
