The peasant farm "Victoria" breeds ducks of the French hybrid breed Mulard to produce foie gras.
On a poultry farm in the village of Noviki, Spassky District, Ryazan Region, there are more than 1,000 ducklings, which since the early 1960s have been considered a symbol of French gourmet cuisine because of their delicious meat, rich in complete protein and trace elements. It is used to make delicious dishes.
According to the head of the enterprise, Ekaterina Yurova, foie gras will be made from fatty liver of strong males, which will eventually be transferred to forced fattening and limited in physical activity. All the necessary equipment for the project launched this year has already been purchased.
In parallel, in the farm "Victoria" with its own incubation shop, geese of the Linda breed are grown. Their livestock is planned to be increased to 32 thousand per season.
