In January-March 2020, the poultry production was estimated at 1.6 million tons (live weight), which is 2.4% more comparing to the level of the same period in 2019. Egg production increased by 1.7%, to 10.7 billion pieces. 

According to the forecast of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, poultry production will reach 6.74 million tons in 2020, which is 0.5% more than of 2019. Egg production will grow by 0.1% to reach 44.91 billion.
