Chilled chickens in January of this year fell in price by another 2.5% compared to December 2023, chicken eggs - by 1.8%, follows from a Rosstat report on the socio-economic situation in Russia.

At the same time, compared to the price of these products in January 2023, there is an increase in the cost of chickens by 25%, eggs by 59%.

In January of this year, there was also an increase in prices for fish and seafood - by 0.7% (by 6.4% in annual terms), butter - by 1.8% (by 5% in annual terms), milk and dairy products - by 0.8% (by 1.1% compared to the price in January 2023).

In general, food prices in January of this year increased by 1.3% compared to the previous month and by 8.8% compared to January 2023.
