Plans to increase the output of meat and dairy products will not be affected by the sanctions imposed by the West against Russia. Difficulties can only arise with packaging - foreign components are used there, Denis Tsarev, press secretary of the Agropromkomplektatsiya group of companies, told the VZGLYAD newspaper.

“Currently, the Agropromkomplektatsiya group of companies is modernizing existing production facilities in order to increase production volumes. For example, next year we are going to double the production of sausages - these are serious volumes, we intend to produce a large number of goods, ”says Tsarev.

He says that the current geopolitical conditions will not affect the company's plans, despite the fact that foreign equipment is being purchased for modernization: foreign partners express their customer focus and readiness in the current conditions to resolve issues of logistics and shipment of those goods that Russian manufacturers need. The specialist notes that there should be no problems with the repair of such equipment either, since all these manufacturers have service centers in Russia.

The interlocutor stressed that the company continues to implement all previously launched investment projects to increase the production of dairy and meat products.

“Also, we have no problems with feed for our animals. And first of all, this is due to the fact that we produce them ourselves. We have 130,000 hectares of fields where we grow various crops, which are then processed into a compound feed that is excellent for pigs and cattle. In this area, we have really become independent lately,” the specialist says.

The only thing that may cause difficulties for the business now is, according to the interlocutor, the packaging for the product, since foreign components are used for its manufacture. For all other components, there are no problems. “All products continue to be produced. There are raw materials, there is equipment, everything works,” Tsarev summed up.
