Russian Minister of Agriculture Dmitry Patrushev will report on the situation in the field of livestock and poultry breeding to Russian President Vladimir Putin on November 20, the Kremlin press service reports.Putin to hear a report on the situation in animal husbandry

The minister's report will be presented on November 21 via videoconference, which will also include the opening of a turkey breeding center in the Tyumen region.

The conference will also be attended by representatives of farms involved in the improvement of poultry and livestock breeds from Tyumen, the Moscow region, the Kursk and Kaliningrad regions.

Recall that in the first seven months of 2022, the volume of production of meat and meat products increased in Russia. Thus, the production of meat of cattle, pork, lamb, goat meat, horse meat, venison and other large animals increased by 7.2% compared to the same period in 2021.
