In July 2019, the annual growth rate of meat and poultry prices in Russia decreased. This was reported in a special analytical material of the Central Bank of Russia.
The document noted that a similar trend was indicated in June 2019. These circumstances may indicate "the completion of the adjustment of supply to demand."
At the same time, in July there was also a slowdown in the rate of growth of mutton prices, which rose sharply from March to May 2019. In addition, the growth rate of sugar prices decreased, and their level returned to the values of July 2018.
