In June of this year, Russia continued to actively increase imports of meat from Brazil, almost doubling it compared to the previous period. According to Brazilian statistics, meat supplies to Russia reached $26.7 million, which is 1.7 times more than in the previous period.

The main component of this increase was the supply of cattle meat, which increased from $12.1 million to $21 million. It is also worth noting a significant increase in purchases of meat by-products, doubling to $2.7 million. There were no significant changes in other categories of meat: poultry supplies amounted to $2.5 million, pork - $420 thousand.

The total volume of meat sales from Brazil to Russia in the first half of this year reached $167.5 million, which is 1.5 times higher than the previous year. Thus, Russia strengthens its position in the list of the largest buyers of Brazilian meat, entering the second ten.

This trend indicates a stable demand for Brazilian meat in the Russian market, possibly due to both product quality and competitive prices. It is important to note that the increase in meat imports may also be due to growing demand from consumers in Russia, reflecting changes in consumer preferences and industry dynamics.

Cooperation between Russia and Brazil in the meat industry continues to strengthen, opening up new prospects for the development of trade relations between the two countries in this sector.
