Russia and the United Arab Emirates continue to strengthen their relations in the field of agriculture, noting the importance of cooperation and plans for the future. The Russian Minister of Agriculture, Oksana Lut, and the UAE Minister of Climate Change and Environmental Protection, Amnoi bint Abdullah Al Dahak Al Shamsi, discussed the prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation on the sidelines of the 14th meeting of the BRICS Ministers of Agriculture.
Increase in trade turnover
The trade turnover of food products between Russia and the UAE is constantly growing, which indicates the importance of the partnership. In particular, 2024 saw a significant increase in wheat supplies from Russia, as well as a resumption of trade in barley.
