According to the information system of the Rosselkhoznadzor FSIS "Argus", according to the results of six months of 2023, compared to the same period last year, Russian producers increased the volume of exports of pork, horse meat, small cattle meat, meat edible by-products and edible eggs.

In the first half of the year, compared to the corresponding period in 2022, the shipment of pork to Serbia and Armenia increased by 4 times, and almost 2 times to Vietnam. A significant increase in the export of pig products to the markets of Hong Kong, Mongolia, and Belarus was noted. In total, pork was delivered abroad by 12% more than in six months of last year.

The shipment of small cattle meat from Russia increased almost 3 times. Iran is the main importer.

According to the results of six months of 2023, there was a 22% increase in exports of horsemeat and 34% of meat edible by-products.

Traditionally, the volumes of supplies to foreign markets of poultry meat remain the highest. The largest buyer is China, Vietnam, Benin, Azerbaijan, Belarus, and Uzbekistan are increasing their imports.

Beef exports remain stable, mainly to China, Saudi Arabia and Kazakhstan.

In addition, in the first half of the year, compared to the same period last year, the supply of food eggs increased by almost 1.5 times. Significantly increased the volume of purchases of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. One of the main importers is traditionally Mongolia. For the first time, these products were shipped to Côte d'Ivoire.

Rosselkhoznadzor continues active work to support and develop exports. In 2023, access was received to 5 countries for 9 types of livestock products. Enterprises from Russia will now be able to supply leather, wool and animal feed to India, aquaculture products to Peru, Tunisia and Guyana, and venison to the UAE.

The list of companies supplying dairy products to China, Egypt and Saudi Arabia, meat products to Oman, Iran, China, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, fish products to Egypt, China, the Republic of Korea, Saudi Arabia and Vietnam, bee products to China.

In total, almost 5 thousand Russian enterprises producing livestock products are currently included in the Register of Exporters of the FSIS Cerberus.
