The First Deputy Minister of Agriculture Dzhambulat Khatuov held a meeting with federal authorities and the representatives of regional agricultural agencies, associations, and organizations.

The situation on the Russian food markets was described as stable. Production volumes allowed for demand to be met, and no significant price fluctuations have been registered for basic food products.
The meeting agenda included discussion of the autumn fieldwork progress. The gathering of grain crops is ongoing in Russia. As of 5 November, 134.5 million tonnes of bunker-weight grain have been gathered. Harvesting of industrial crops, vegetables, and potatoes is nearing completion.
Seeding work will also be completed soon. Russian agrarians are provided with all the necessary materials and technical resources.
Additionally, more than 30 million tonnes of coarse and juicy fodder were stocked up across the country. That is 2.8% more than in the same period last year.
The availability and use of grain in the regions is constantly monitored. First priority is given to preparing seeds for next year's harvest, providing mills with raw materials, and the livestock industry with coarse grains. As well, a significant grain export potential was mentioned.
