Since July 6, 2020, the Rosselkhoznadzor has lifted temporary restrictions on the transit of beef from seven Belarusian enterprises through the territory of Russia. These agreements was reached on July 3 during a teleconference of the Head of the Rosselkhoznadzor Sergey Dankvert with the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Subbotin.
The decision to resume the transit of beef was made on the basis of guarantees from the Department of Veterinary and Food Supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Belarus, as well as materials previously submitted to the Russian side, the Rosselkhoznadzor said.
It is specified that the products of these companies will be imported under enhanced laboratory control, accompanied by electronic veterinary certificates.
