In 2019 Russia will increase the volume of poultry exports fivefold compared to 2018, to $ 975 million, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation said.

In 2018, poultry meat exports from Russia to countries outside the Customs Union increased by 30.2% compared to 2017 and amounted 145.2 thousand tons, of which 40.5% were sent to Vietnam and 36, 6% - to Ukraine (Donetsk and Lugansk regions).

Taking into account the data of the Customs Union, the export volume was at the level of 175.7 thousand tons, of which 17.3% (30.5 thousand tons) accounted for Kazakhstan. The export volume increased by 26.7% (+37.0 thousand tons) in a year, while supplies to Vietnam increased by 29.6%, to Ukraine - by 5.9% and to Kazakhstan - by 9.8%.

Exports to Hong Kong increased significantly - by 18.5 times, also Russia began the direct deliveries of poultry to China.
